my only advice, dress nice, be ontime, be polite and act humble. i got pulled over for a clutch pop in a parking lot. i expalined i just got a new shifter(lol) and wanted to make sure i hooked it up right and it wasent my smartest idea ever to do that.just be nice, they are people too and when they pull over some punk in a loud car thats just asking for a ticket. he let me go and i belive it was soley on the fact that i didnt give him some bs story or act like a dick,

I am amazed at the bashing of FieroZ34, the law is the law, he has told nothing but the truth. If you go 50 in a 45 zone, you have broken the law, if you do a burnout in front of a cop you have just broken the law, case closed. If you dont want to deal with the consequences dont do it.

Ignore Fiero, people like him become cops to give 10mph over speeding tickets on back roads at 3 am because they just love to be ****heads.
That being said, I agree that you should be honest. Lying in court is perjury, sure it's about the easiest perjury to get away with, but that doesn't make it right. Go plead guilty and beg him to reduce it to a non-moving violation so your insurance doesn't kill you.

bc every single person on this forum that has an LS1 has gotten sideways coming out of a parking lot atleast once or twice so dont go and say that bull **** about controlling your car. Its fun and everyone on here admits it, and im glad to hear your fighting it bc one the ticket will be outrageous and two, you have the right to fight it and you know the lawyer will get the $$ down to like half or more. So more power to ya man.
Dont listen to some of the jackasses who are like "you shouldn't have done it so you deserve the ticket" WTF ever bc i know and you know they do it to
along with me, i can't help myself sometimes i just wana get on it

Yep i got one for a burnout at sonic Reckless totally uncalled for should of been laying drag, My lawyer used the defense that the building was in the way and he couldnt see me laying the drag, there were no tire marks, and by law both wheels have to spin and they cant be straight lines the tire marks have to show that the back end got loose got off completely and just got defensive driving good luck and Next time just dont get caught 
i couldn't help but laught through this entire thread, i mean spinning a little tire is bound to happen with these cars right?? i mean hell, why would we have them if they couldnt?! i got a ticket for the same thing, roasting the tires through first, second, and third, needless to say, the cop didnt enjoy mine much either! i went and fought it, blamed it on the sand in the roads... for teh WIN!
