Default Cam Only????

Guys, I need some feedback on what difference a cam made to your bolt-on only ride. What did it feel like? Did it kill your low end power? The reason I ask is I am thinking of installing a cam/springs, etc. Current mods in signature.

My dilemma is this: Spends thousands on a head/cam/intake package or save up a few more thousands and get a stroked LS2 or L92

How are you going to spend thousands on a head/cam/intake package and still be cam only?

I have long tubes, ORY, GMMG, 4.10, and now a Torquer 2. Yea it has lost a pretty good amount of bottom end, but it made up for it with the mid range which I think makes the car much easier to drive as far as not having to wind it out to pass somebody or ect. The only time you can tell it has lost bottom end is when you try to do a burnout or something, no real difference in taking off though

Putting a cam in is night and day. You'll lose some low end but as long as you're more concerned about going fast than towing a trailer you will be more than happy with the results.

Sorry,i should have made clear the cam was an intermediate step to get the most out of my current set-up and then going to a h/c or stroker.
