Default Launching help.

I am a newbie and I am not familiar with any terms. I am deffinatly a newbie to the ls1 and the 6-speed.

I am going to the track this weekend and was wondering what is the best way to launch.

Set it around 2K and slowly let the clutch out while holding the gas down. I know not to dump it. But another thing is that you can tell from my sig my car isnt stock. I can take off in 1st get it to about 15mph floor it and it will get sideways. 2nd at 50mph it gets sideways. and it will chirp third.

Also how do you guys warm up the tires in a m6. back up in the water pit and slowly let out on the clutch and then as soon as you have it floor it?

I am used to my old auto lt1 so any help or sugestions is apprieciated.

I am not wanting to run this car that hard because it is my daily driver..so what would be some good shift point exc...and what could i run in the 1/8th?

There is already another post with many comments, go look at that one instead of starting your own.
