Problems with shifting I've just recently bought a 2000 SS Camaro in good shape and runs great. The car has a 6 speed and the clutch feels good in the car and has no problems shifting just in normal driving conditions. But when i rap it out and shift at high rpm's like if i was racing, either i cant shift into the next gear or i can but the clutch does not come back up when i let off it stays on the floor...anyone else experience this or know how to fix the problem.
yes, drill mod, i still have to do it myself, but i was at the drag strip, getting excellent launces, and first-second shifts, then third would not engage, hopefully after the drill mod, ill be ok, let us know
Yep what these guys said, basically whats happening is your fluid is getting too hot and is expanding causing it not to make it thru the restricted line. What I would also suggest is to get an 01-02 Master and Slave cylinder since this is a much better design.
