t/b install
ok as soon as my car gets here im putting on a ported/polished t/b. On my last car I did the same thing but ended up breaking one of the bolts that holds the t/b on....How tight are these bolts supposed to be? Is there a recommended lb pressure for these

Im not so sure off of the top of my head but anytime I need casting info, torque specs, etc...google is a gold mine just be somewhat conscious of what site you're looking at. Worldofhondacivics.com might not have accurate torque specs
Good luck!

I snapped one off before too. I went and bought 3 new bolts. I forget what "grade" they were, but they're a lot stronger. I just tighten mine pretty snug with a 1/4" ratchet to seal that gasket. I'd consider spending a couple bucks on new, better ones so you're not ******* around with broken bolts, not that it's a big deal, but still.

just to tighten them down snug...you don't need to make these super tight..over tightening can be worse than undertightning
i also have a torque spec sheet in PDF format that list pretty much all the specs. PM me with you email addy and I will send it your way.
