My six speed 99 T/A got 23.5 to 24.5 mpg for my daily driving most of the time as bolt on car. On a long trip the car got 32.8 mpg.

After heads and cam, etc & 4.10 gears, the average milage dropped to 21.5 mpg to 22 mpg for normally driving. On a a long trip the car got 28.5mpg

The very worst mileage my car got as the very first tank of gas as a brand new car. Got 16 mpg.

Wifes 2002 Z28 is an auto and it averaged 23 to 23.5 mpg for her normal driving.

If your in the city with a lot of stop light driving or sitting in traffic your mileage will be less.

Friend with a Firehawk and basic bolt on's tends to get around 23.5 to 24.0 mpg. The car has gotten a little over 30 mpg on trips before. It is also a six speed.

Good basic maintance, like clean fuel filter, air filter, good plugs gapped correctly, tires inflated properly, good alignment, no extra weight in the car, all help MPG. A light foot also helps.

Sometimes replacing the O2 sensors can help if MPG is really down.

I get 26-26.5mpg on the highway (with the AC on all the time). I would be without the AC on it would be at 27. and 15-19 in the city.. like everyone says this depends on your lead foot factor.

Mixed city/highway with AC on and spirited driving, I average 19mpg.

Haven't done any steady highway cruising yet. I'd guess 25 or so. My car's an A4 btw.

My last tank i filled up (right after i got my exhaust on, so i was constantly giving her hell) seriously almost all the time. I got 19mpg. I get about 27 for highway miles. I have an A4. I consider myself lucky when it comes to the gas.

I get about 220-240 a tank, probably 80/30 city highway, but the road tuning is not finished. Getting about 26-27 on the highway.

Why do some cars get 200 miles a tank? That makes no sense at all. There's gotta be something wrong.

I filled up this morning and divided it out, I averaged 24.4mpg. My commute is pretty much half and half.

A stock 6-speed is gonna get dqamn good milage assuming you aren't constantly running it to 6k on every shift. When I had my stone stock M6 Z28 I could eek 17-18mpg in the city be very conservative on the throttle and constantly jumping gears. Now with my A4, 3.73's and cam of death I get 11mpg on a good day...
