map light button location
map light button location I just finished reading the post concerning the difference between f-body years
I have an 01 SS, but my map light buttons on the rear-view mirror are on the bottom like a 02.
Would it have to have been switched or could this be some abnormality?

In 2001, GM changed the rear view mirror design for the F-bodies.
Your 2001 should in fact have the buttons on the bottom. '00 and earlier had a different mirror altogether (different shape) with rocker switches (not push buttons like the newer ones) on the face of the mirror for the map lights.
