Default Track #'s

I am going to the track next wed. My car stock with just a lid, catback and a tune made 306rwhp and ran a 13.6 @ 104mph 2.1 60ft. 8.7 @ 98mph 1/8. Since then I have installed the Jethot LT's, ORY and a PTC 3500 stall converter. I do need to get another tune but lets see how close we can guess what the #'s will be. I am gonna say a 12.8 @ 106mph. What do you all think? One more thing. How much power does LT's normally add to the LS1? I am looking for rwhp.

I'd guess you'll stay in the 13's unless sticky tires are added...

My A4 car has pretty much the exact same mods and went 12.66@107 (1.77 60 foot though)

Dynoed at 322rwhp/318rwtq on a Mustang Dyno FWIW...

Id say high 12's will be attainable. I know of lots of people with stalled a4's that runs high 12's on street tires

I think you should be trapping a lot more than 104 with 306 rwhp. That's about a 280-290hp trap.

LT's normally net 10whp. The stall will make a big difference. And the mph will be higher with the stall also.

You sure you typed that right? A 98 trap in the 1/8th would call for 122-125 1/4 mile traps.

I was wrong about the 1/8 mile time. It was 8.9 @ 83 mph. Just a little off. HEHE

It was very hot and hummid the day I went to the track. Also When I would leave the car just fell on its face until about 3500rpm and then really started to pull hard. I did go thru the conversion tables and none of them are the same. So I am was running right where I should be with the power I was making.. The conversion tables are not 100%. They are just a tool to get you close!!

My buddies 2002 A4 with the same mods I had at the time on a cooler dryer night ran a 13.4 @106 mph. He dynoed 2 less hp but 8 more ft. pounds of torqe. He ran with me that night and ran a 13.6 @ 103mph. It was just a really muggy night. Not very good for racing!! Also I have a friend with a 98 Camaro that has a 406 that usally runs low 10's 10.1-10.2 and he was running 10.5 in the 1/4 that night. Just a bad night.. I also drove the car to the track and ran it within 10 minutes of pulling in the gates. When I dynoed it I drove about 45 minutes to thunder racing and the first pass was 297rwhp. We let the car cool for about 30 minutes and the very next pass was 306rwhp, the third pass made 301rwhp. Heat soak kills HP.
