~$600-700 for the cam kit(springs, cam, pushrods...), $4 for the crank bolt, ~$10 for coolant, $200-300 for private installer maybe cheaper, ~$500 for a good dynotune.. and your going to want to do an oil change after wards aswell so ~$30.. probly missing something but i think thats about it..

you can save money by getting used parts, but the only used part i would get is the cam cam pick a good used one up for around $150 as i did if you get a cam with about .60x lift or under you can save even more money by only having to get "comp. 918" springs there under $200 i think and use stock retainers ect. and also just get a set of hardend pushrod and you will be set..

Is your cam stock? i wouldnt do cam first, get some headers, T.D.'s or cutout, intake... first so when you put the cam in you only have to tune it once and not 2 or 3 times

texas-speed.com, thunderracing.com and a few others have good full cam kits.

A cam swap will be more expensive than you think. Install alone can easily be towards $1000 plus a tune. Then you need the parts. I would have a hard time buying used parts for a cam swap. When it comes down to it your looking around $2000.

Some people like to upgrade their oil pump and add a ud pulley while they are in there so factor that into the cost if you plan to do that.

i do cam swaps all day long for 500 + parts, less the tuning. Don't normally do the tune for lack of dyno or wideband. I also include pulleys and pushrods rockers..etc..because that stuff has to be taken apart to do the swap anyway.

yeah cam jobs' are super easy, hell i'm doing mine again for the 4th time (going back to stock cam, will have a patriot 226/226 .585"/.585" 112LSA for sale soon BTW) on my first time it ran me about 1000 in parts then the tune, so about 1500. but after you have all the parts all your basically swapping is the cam. so depending on what cam you get it can go from 100 to 350 for another cam.
