The average is .5 off your quarter mile time. But it verys depending on tires used and track prep. Lets say you are running street tires and don't hook very well at your track. You might be used to running 13.5 @ 106 on a 2.2 60'. Then you switch to a 3400 stall and still run on street tires. Now you might run 13.4 @ 107 on the same 2.2 60'.

There would be little gain because you are still spinning/feathering out of the hole. Then lets say you switch to a sticky drag radial. Now with the stall and drag radials you start running 12.6 @ 107 on a 1.7 60'. The difference now is .9 better then the original 13.5 you had on the stock stall. But that number is deceiving.

If you used drag radials before you swapped stalls then you were probably running 13.1 @ 106 on a high 1.9 60'. After the stall you run 12.6 @ 107 on a 1.7 60'. That is the scenario where you get the .2 off the 60' and .5 off your ET. Now the gains can be bigger like .7 off your ET and .3 off your 60' but generally that is gained from 3800-4400 stalls with 2.5 or higher STR's. But the larger stalls tend to feel "looser" so it's up to the owner to decide if an extra .1 or .2 ET is worth it.

So I guess my point is don't expect the gains unless you have drag radials. With drag radials you can expect a solid .5 off of your ET, +1 to your trap speed and .2-.3 off your 60'.

When I put a stall in my 93 it took off .4 in the 1/4 mile. I was running a Vig 2800 at the time.

Skip that stall and go for the 4000 stall Those numbers can be true but it appears most see around .5 drop in the 1/4 and the 1.7 to 1.9 60's

With the stall in my sig(a precision 3000 stall) i gained about three tenths in the eigth. I already had mickey thompson drag radials on the car so that was all stall. Also i went from consistent 1.9 sixty foots to 1.6 sixty foots.
