Default quick question

i have a 99 camaro ss a4. i got an air lid and saw those five free mods you can do that is supposed to give you another 10rwhp so i did those...do you think i could outrun an m6 z28 thats completely stock from a low roll?

He would deff get the jump on you obviously because he would already be in his powerband. It would come down to how good of a driver the other guy is.

I would agree. I have seen very few A4's that are strong running cars from the factory compared to the M6's. In fact most of the A4's I have seen that were stock were complete turds compared to the M6's. The only chance I think you have is if you raced him from a stop. Thats where the Auto's make all their gain on the M6's. From a roll I doubt you'd win.

I agree with the above from a roll you are definately going to lose, a dig is your only chance and then you have to pray he can't drive.

m6>auto from a roll given everything else is equal.

what are these 5 free mods? lol. i just joined this site. i just got 98 z28. put on some torq thrust type m rims, dual halo headlights, clear turn signals and bumper lights, new brake rotors and pads, tranny tuned. gonna buy the ls6 intake and some long tube headers this week. so what are the 5 free mods? lol im just clueless..

my advice is to save your gas...wait til u get a stall and then you would both be in the power band, but if he can drive he probably still take it...from a dig with a stall itd be close

automatic vs a 6 speed will always loose from a roll cause we are in out power band if you went from a dead stop you might get him off the line but he will come back but then again it all depends on the driver mod

do the "!air in his tires" mod

then get a good stall, anywhere between 3500 and 4000 is good and Yank is a great stall
