Header Question
Header Question When I bought my car someone already did a true dual setup. I was wondering if there were any headers that hang down the same length as the stock manifolds? Maybe even have the same flange? I'm not sure the specs on the stock manifolds, but I was wondering if that is the length of the shorty headers? Thanks for any input.

if you take your car to any exhaust shop they should be able to do the neccesary fabrication to put it all together. i'm assuming the true duals is 2 1/2 " ? they would probalby just need a piece to neck down the 3 inch opening on most Long tubes to the 2.5 inch exhaust pipes, maybe make a cut or two... shouldn't be to overly expensive
X 3 No shorties or I will slap you...It may not be that easy on the exhaust unless you buy the right headers. Some like Kooks and Qtp angle towards the outside on the drivers side instead of straight. You will need some that go straight on both sides for it to be easy for the exhaust shop. And you will need your own mandrel bent pieces for them, as most dont do or stock misc mandrel bent pieces. You will need for them to put it on the lift and look at it first and tell you what to buy. You can go to Summit, Jegs or a parts store for cheap stuff but its thin. Dr Gas has high quality stuff$$
Thanks guys. I have been wanting long tube headers. The other day when I was underneath the car changing the oil I just started thinking that shorties might be easier to fabricate a fit. But like you guys said. I can just take it to the exhaust shop and it probably wouldn't take any time for him to fix me up. So which long tube header is the best bang for the buck? I would like not to spend a grand on a set.
