Need Help!!!
Need Help!!! So, I bought my first real mod, an MTI lid that was used from another ls1tech user. So it had a little crack near one of the connecters (the 4 little plastic bars that you put in the holes that latch the lid on to). I hoped that that wouldnt affect anything really. So i went on and followed install university's guide to putting lids on and as I was attaching the lid to the MAF, it cracked up top in the where it connects. I duct taped it as best as humanly possible and put everything together. Now the lid does not really line up evenly, there is a tiny space on a spot below the right corner. I cranked it up and it started at 500 rpms and would fluctuate between 500-700 rpms. I need to know what my options are here because I am really hating my life at this point

After examining it on the inside and where it is cracked, I see that is has been epoxyed ALL OVER. Would it be right for me to ship it back to him and ask for my money back or at least partially. On his thread it said nothing about it being epoxyed
