Default Catch can?

I was going to put a catch can on my car. But it has a breather on it, but the little place between tb and the intake is not capped off would that be a big problem? Make me idle high sometimes i hear?

The hose you speak of isn't connected to the breather... the breather where the oil fill cap is what your tlaking about I guess. The line running from the valve cover to the TB tends to get oil in there over time so people put an oil catch can on the car to keep oil out. Do a search and you'll find some write ups on it.
