need help with a stupid ? ok im not to good with heads and i have a 98 with perimeter bolt heads could i change to center bolt heads like 241s? i know its stupid but i have no knowing of heads.

Yes, you can switch to 241s... in fact I have a set for sale. The truth is, any LSx head will bolt up to any LSx motor, however, some heads have too large of valves for the smaller bore motors. L92/LS3 heads only fit on bores of 4.000 or larger. LS7 heads only fit bores of 4.125 or larger. For stock cube LS1s (3.900 bore) you can use 841 (99-02 f-body/base vette), 843 (01-04 LS6), or 4.8/5.3/6.0 truck heads.
You will need new valve covers and coil rails if you switch to a centerbolt head.
