how to read vin codes

how to read vin codes im sure its real but what vin #s indicate a real ws6 and also what indicates a 373 gear if they even came with a 3.73 in 99 thanks

No F-Body came factory with 3.73s. You'll have to look at the RPO codes on the drivers door. Also check out this link for the ASC # for you car
