I have an 2002 c5 convertible and the passenger side light goes up fine but when u put it down the motor keeps going 4 about 5 or 6 sec after it gets down making a loud popping sound whats wrong. please help sounds awful

sounds like the plastic gears are stripped on that headlight motor. It's a pretty easy fix. Manually raise your headlight and take out the motor. You will need to pry it open and pull out the plastic gear, rotate it 180 degrees, put it back in and epoxy the lid to the motor back shut. You can also get metal gears so this doesn't happen again. If you have any questions just PM me and I'll try to explain it better.
