New Fluids Just bought a 2001 SS m6 it has 11k on it but i want change the trans and rear diff fluid. I'v heard some horror stories about the trans fluid but which am i best using especially with low miles.
it depends on how comfortable you are with the car. idont see the diff needing to be changed unless the previous owner beat the **** out of it all the time.
the t56 is a very well built tranny, you should never see any issues with it unless again, the guy before you beat teh **** out of it, and was a horrible shifter.
on what type of oil. im not too sure, find out what rear you have, and dont forget the limited slip additive.
