Default 315's

If you get the tires do they fit or do you have to modify something? Also, do you have to get two for the front as well?

if your car is at stock height...you probably wont have to do anything.
no you dont need 315's for the front...if thats what you were asking???
315's definitely dont belong a wheel smaller than 10.5 if thats what your plan was.

Thanks Zach.

I have stock wheels and stock height and my tread on the back tires are horrible. I want to get 315's so does anyone have any suggestions on what brand and where to buy?

I believe your stock ws6 rim is 9.5 wide. As earlier poster said, 315's dont belong on rims smaller then 10.5. If you want 315s for the back ur gonne need some wider rims back there.

You don't need 315's for the front...but I have seen 315's on the front end of a couple of friend's cars who auto-x and it looks intimidating

I have 315's on rear and 275's out front. Even then, the car on the street is on verge of breaking traction under anything more than 1/3 throttle on launch, heck just doing mini 1800rpm clutch dumps will chirp a little.

If you have a bolt on or cam only car, it's still not enough tire, but it's an improvement over 275 let alone 245. I've used Nitto 555R on them and at track were braking loose still on the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts. Those are terrible in half inch water depth ie heavy rain. Would hydroplane easy. I'm using BFG KD tires and they work great on street, but obviously don't work as stick hot nitto's on track.

Like they said, you need at least a 10.5" rim to safely run a 315. People run them on 9" rims and get away with it. Would I risk it? Not a chance in hell. I have 315 on my 11" wide ZR1s and I'm lowered on a Pro-Kit. I had to beat the **** out of my inner fenderwells with a little mini mallet. Even at stock height, you might have to "clearance" it a little, so don't be surprised if you do.

I have 315 nitto 555r drag radial's on the back and 275 bfg's on the front. when the car is on my lift and the suspention is all the way down the inner tire wall rubs but on the ground no problems. I'm running the black z06 wheels from thunder racing, and there 10.5 wide.

Stock are 9" wide.

Like said above, I wouldn't put 315's on stock wheels.

Buy some new rims, I have Torque Thrust II's snd I love them. I have 275's in the front, and 315's in the back. I added a small sapcer in the back to get them to stick out a little more, but no fitment issues. I think the sponsor Tomzwheels sells some
