Default What to do???

OK guys, Im about to get a little cash to play with and wanted to know what everyones opinions are as far as the best thing to do now. I will have about 2 grand and am thinking about doing either.........

-Patriot stage II 5.3l heads and cam
-GX52 cam $ install kit and a yank converter OR TNT kit
-Strange 12 bolt rear (will have to save a little more $$)

The reason I put the 12 bolt in there is because I would hate to start making good power just to break at the track so I was thinking maybe bulletproofing would be first. My current mods are......
-LS1 Motorsports lid, FTRA, K&N
-All free mods
-S1 throttle body
-custom catback (borla copy with 1 chamber flowmaster)

Basics first.
Cutout
Pulley
Headers
converter
The heads & cam are lost without a very freeflowing exhaust.
Then do
cam
heads
you'll be alright on the rear with no power adders. If it does have a problem, there are always stock rears for sale...

OOPS, I forgot to meantion that if I do heads and cam then I will wait untill I have some longtubes to install at the same time because I believe I will be able to drop them in from the top with the heads off. I understand about free flowing exhaust but I just wanted to get some of the big $$$ parts out of the way while I got the cash. Also I dont think the cutout would do me THAT much good considering one of my tips out the rear is straight through with no muffler. I understand it still goes through the cat but my last car showed only 1-2hp difference on a dyno without cats. Besides those things are freaking annoying and sound like complete ***!! Appreciate the opinon though Mildot, keep em coming!

A cut out works better once you have a cam and stuff. Its better than a cat back because its on the y-pipe, before two exhaust pipes are shoved into one.
