not sure if i am completely correct on all of these, but Im pretty sure i know.
Hood-fiberglass
Doors-fiberglass (I know thats right because mine has been hit)
front fenders-abs plastic
bumpers-abs plastic
quarter panels-steel
sail panel-fiberglass
All this fiberglass and plastic, yet our cars are still heavy. Does anyone know why?

Only SS and WS6 hoods are fiberglass.
Z28 and V6 use steel hoods.
As for why F-bodies are so heavy? One beefy unibody chassis, heavy solid rear axle, and huge glass panels (preferably a two man job on windshield replacement).

i found that out after a semi kicked up a meteor and planted it in my z28's hood.
