Just get two peices of wire 3 ft long and relocate ur intake air temp sensor bhind ur head light. It does the same thing, it puts ur air temp sensor where there is cold air and in return it bumps ur timing a couple degrees.

If you're going to do it, just do this...that way if it doesn't do anything you're not out any $$$.
This mod, like others, is a crap shoot - it might work on your car, but it might not.

I bought one. I like to keep things clean under the hood. And like the CAGS, it has connectors so you can't tell it's there unless you know what to look for. $20 bucks, what the heck..... I'm not sure if it helps but I pulled 320Hp and 330TQ at the rear wheels with just a lid and ATM. Got the Maganaflow now and waiting to dyno again!!! Later.....

"Works for some and not for others" pretty much sums it up. I was one of the ones it took power from. I lost 4 RWHP so I pulled it and sold it.

Wat nighthawk said "install university". @ the tracks I did the timing tricker mod to a friends 2002 35th anni. SS and he gain 2 mph. I guess every car differs.

A simple resistor pluged into the IAT harness does the same thing for practically free (you can get a whole pack of 'em for about $.50 at radio shack.) 4.7k ohm will give you a constant 57 degrees which is cool enough so that your PCM doesn't pull any timing.
