problem running propane through NXL injectors?
with all this buzz about propane i was wondering if it would work with NXL's injectors. i would like to go direct port but i also like the octane rating on propane(and the $$$) so do you guys think there would be a problem running propane through there or should it work problem free?
Inmy uneducated guess, if the injecotrs can flow Nitrous and gas, then it shoudl be able to allow two gases to flow thru, unless the liquid gasoline does something for atomization, which in theory seems like the liquid would hurt atomization more than help.
I dont know, but that was my orignally my idea also, clean install, nice rails, and guaranteed distribution.

the NXL system uses the same rail for injectors, and for the input to their fuel noid, you would not be able to do propane without adapting the input of the NXL system to an auxilary source.

A buddy of mine is using propane as the fuel for his n2o system. It is working out really well for him. He is not spraying through the injectors though, he was using it througha 'wet' shot.
He stole the idea from me, since I am using it as a octane booster/charge cooler on my boosted setup!

smokin, i was wanting to use it for the reason scott said: as an octane booster. but i would rather go direct port for the obvious reason so i was wondering if this may be a cheap alternative to $4-5.00/gal racegas
The only reason I wanted to use it in a NXL is for the clean *** install. Other than thatm your right there is no benefit to the DP setup, just looks really nice!
I guess a set of rails and new line, then a wet propane kit and I will be set!

Slow, reportedly the NXL is able to run off from a dedicated fuel system, so that shouldnt be a problem.
