Mount Bottle Behind Driver Seat? So now that you have all convinced me to get nitrous 
I was thinking about removing the rear-driver side seat bottom and putting the bottle there. I want it to be easy to reach, and thought the driveshaft tunnel was too intrusive. I like behind the driver seat cuz it is not sticking out in the open, its easy to reach behind and open, it is easier for a 3rd person to side behine the passenger rather than driver (I'm tall), and I figured it would be less obvious to a police officer if pulled over.
I've never seen it mounted here, but it should work fine, right? Isn't there a grommet under each rear seat that I can run the blowdown tube and main line through? I'll post pics of what I'm thinking of later.

I really wouldn't want a rear passenger sitting next to a bottle to mess with. Did you think about mounting it in the very back of the trunk in that low area behind the axle? I had my N2O setup in my 3rd gen In the trunk sitting sideways and never had a problem.
I want to keep my t-top storage, and I also want to be able to open the bottle easily without having to stop and get out. I almost never have a person in the back seat, and anyone who I would have I would trust not to mess with stuff...

I did mine on the passenger side. I was pulled over last month on the way home from the track and the officer said nothing about it. I was more nervous that he was going to say something about my exhaust.
Thats where my bottle is...you can kinda see it in the two pics. Im trying to swap my 15# bottle for a 10#er to put on the trans tunnel so i can put my backseats back in though. But where I have it isnt too bad of a spot - i can reach around and open it without any problems
