The problem i see is that if i do a wet kit i will have to do a nitrous tune because the MAF is not picking up on it so my engine will not be running prime AFR and timing when its just on motor where if i go to a Dry kit my MAF will pick it up and will change the AFR and timing when the nitrous is spraying and when it is not.

Tune the car N/A like you normally would... Then adjust your jets to get desired A/F ratio's.. The timing tuner will let you run full timing N/A and pull timing when you arm/activate the N20.

Thats the main reason I bought it as well... but a mishap at the track led me to start trouble shooting so I unplugged it. I have hooked it back up and instead of having it wired into the WOT, I have it kicking on when I arm it, so now I can see the red LED that comes on as I am standing in front of it and can verify (just to make sure).
We had some small issues trying to get the TT and the WS to communicate.. Ray and Full throttle got it taken care of and its good to go. Its just that all the track are closed till next year all ready up here.

Very easy.. Just have to splice into a few wires that it says to on the instructions and your good to go. The rest is just setting your WOT voltage and putting the setting where you want it.

The timing tuner is simple.. It justs a plug and play, you have to drop the starter to plug it in. If your worried about that, then dont get N20 as there is going to be alot more things to "hard wire"..

like waterburg said, you're going to have to wire more than just the timing tuner.. solenoids, relays, switches. The tuner is simple. If you're really that worried about wiring things in, then you should rethink about getting nitrous. It's really not bad at all.

I am not worried about the wiring, i was just wondering if it was in the tune or something that has to be wired.

Wire for the tune??

It just plugs in between the crank position sensor and the computer. It tricks the signal and retards the timing when activated. Alls you have to do is tap into the WOT switch or the arming switch to let it know when you are spraying and the timing tuner does it for you. You just have to turn a **** in the timing tuner to let it know how much timing you want it to pull.

All you do is set up the whole nitrous system including the timing tuner, and then have the car tuned all motor. You don't have to have the car tuned on nitrous. Have it tuned all motor and that's it. You can wire the timing tuner (box we are talking about) to activate at wide open throtle, or when you press the arm switch on. Then it starts retarding timing. It does it on it's own. it does not change the tune. it just retards the timing. That way you can have an optimized tune for driving around on the motor, whereas if you have the car tuned while spraying, it affects driving N/A.

I wouldnt say the timing tuner is a waste.. but, I think there should be a way to tell for sure though. I dont want to pop a motor then go "was the red LED on"?

Here is the way I did mine. I added the timing tuner (old picture and its not in it) right above the window switch by the battery. Things are going to change as I will be adding a stand alone over the winter.
