Hey guys, I have an old NOS bottle and valve, I was just wondering if anyone is familiar with the limitations of the old valve or if it is the same as the new one. I have one of the valves with the 90 degree handles and I was wondering if it flows as the new standard hi-flo valve with the 45 degree handles. i also have to find out that whether or not I can directly upgrade the valve or not, because my bottle is one of the taller bottles, but it's only a 10lb bottle.

 

spoke to the NOS hotline, they said the old 90 degree valve is good enough for a 200 shot, but the new 45 degree valve is slightly better. I didn't think it was worth 60 bucks to replace so I kept my 90 degree valve.

 

so how old is ur bottle because i hav one just lik it skinnier and taller but 10lb bottle the valve looks different then my new one the old bottles from i think 87 or 83 do they expire or can i still use this? the bottles still full from the 80's lol ive already used it once lol
