Sure... but depends on how much you're spraying... changing from a NOS standard valve bottle to a Super-High flo valved bottle will gain atleast 15hp on a car running with 500+hp worth.

you wont see any difference with a 100-250 or so hit with a standard bottle.

The dynotune bottles are $119........in these tough times you might want an affordable option......Gloss black with chrome valve.........

Nitrous pro flow . I replaced my nos and nx pickup and valves with pro flow. They are radiused and you can stick the other 2 in side of the pro flow. its at least 2X bigger. The pro flow Bottle nuts are also the best!

Can someone possibly show pictures of, and explain the difference in the bottles currently on the market?
Just curious to see what makes one bottle better than the next.

Thanks

One thing I would do, is run the same type/size bottle with the same valve all the time, because I know it will change the tune a little. I ahve 2 differnet ones, and I know that one runs a little different then the other 2 (worse)

I have seen marketing pitches where they claim simply take there bottle and trade it out with your current bottle and pick up 15hp. This cracks me up. Think about it. The only way this would be possible is if you were max flowing your current bottle valve. In the event you did flow more nitrous now you are going to have to retune the fuel to adjust if from being leaned out.

Dont get me wrong. Certain valves deffintly flow better than others. Lots of companies out there use cheap valves that limit flow do to the internal passage direction and size.
ON the average street car spraying 150hp or so these valve will flow just fine.

But there is more to flow at that level. Does the valve handle offer and valve stem support or is it just a cheassy pot metal flimbsy handle. Does it have accessory ports so you can moniture bottle pressure and controll your heater with out opening the bottle?
Does it use a bottle nut that offers no adjustments for clocking accessories to what ever possition fits best?

These are things to consider as well.

So the answer is Yes certain valve designs flow better than others. The question is at what HP do you need what valve.

The NX Pro Mod style ball valve is the highest flowing valve out there hands down.
Next would be the NOS HIGH Flow.

Our standard Nitrous Outlet Valve and the NX standard valve are two great examples of a valve that offers the bells and whistles and will still support a crap load of flow. They will not out flow the two above but they are also more cost effective and you still have a great valve.

Yes sir. It has a number 8 thread on the opening. Its basically a strait blow through valve with a ball valve made in side. If you hold the bottle and do not have a good balance when you crack the valve open it will put you on your butt...

^ I have one sitting in my garage. The first time I opened it and noticed that it used a -8 feed line I was pretty shocked.

thats pretty wild, but i believe it.
i have a nitrous outlet valve myself and like that it has 2 ports for whatever you feel like hooking up.
handle is of great quality, and its black too. so there are other reasons to for for a bottle rather than flow as mentioned.

It's not the bottles so much, it's with the valves.

Dave a good bottle can make a difference. Very hard to tell on a 150 shot. But using 4-5 lbs per run you can. Getting the densest nitrous to the noid does have an advantage. We have seen a diference in amount of nitrous delivered from a Cold fusion 15 to a pro flow 15. The plugs have shown us a richer condition with the CF. Probably 3 lbs per hour of fuel difference on the 400 shot or a round 10 hp.
