Default HSW Interface with big cam and tune???

Since I have determined I should keep my FAST intake and just add a plate kit to it I now find myself comtemplating dry vs wet. If I go wet I was going to use a standalone and if I go dry I'll need bigger injectors and a fuel pump. The cost difference isn't really that different for either system. I also plan on using a NANO system as well for either.

The HSW Interface and Micro Edge controller interests me because I can run a full timing NA tune and then the controller will pull timing when it's activated and adjust the fuel. The Edge controller also has a feature that will shut the nitrous down on a lean condition and a overly rich condition. You can even specify the A/F ratio and how long it must be in for in .1 sec increments to shut things down. Regardless of dry or wet I am going to use the Micro Edge just for that feature alone.

What do you all think?

I'd give my opinion but I think I'm just slightly biased. Do some searching, plenty of people running the Interface/MicroEDGE combo that are pleased with the results. If you have any questions just ask. Thanks.

Do you have a big cam and aftermarket tune? Do you do your own tuning or have someone do it for you? I'm thinking I may need to invest in EFI Live or HP Tuners to really get the adjustability I want.

We did test this same combination on my car which does have a big cam in it. Worked like a charm, picked up 108 rwhp on a 100 shot with A/F at a conservative 11.5. When we were designing the MicroEdge all i could think about was how well it will work with the interface on a dry plate.

One of the local Vette guys is getting his C5 Z06 tuned today with your 100hp dry nozzle. He has a cam in his car, so I'll talk with my tuner in the next couple of days and see how he liked it. If he gives it a thumbs up I'll be getting your dry plate system and Micro Edge.

It looked to be a post maf nozzle to me. Its about 3"-4" in front of the throttle body. They ended up having the wrong A-pillar pod, so the tune got pushed off until this Tuesday. Hopefully it goes good. I'm really interested in doing a dry system.

With the cam and mods in my sig what size injectors would I need to add a max of 300hp to the wheels dry? I was thinking of the 80lb/hr Racetronix, but I don't know how to do the calculations to be sure.

Edit: I'm going to start with your plate at about 150-200, then once the motors forged I'll use the plate for the first stage of around 100 and add a direct port for the 2nd stage of 250-350.

60 lb injectors will take you pretty far, the racetronix 79lb/hr should certainly cover you to those kinds of numbers.

Thanks,

Mike put some hard work into smoothing the entire intake prior to the powder coating.
