Default nitrous help

I figured this was the place to ask, I have a 93 camaro bracket car that has all the typical bracket car stuff. I.E. power gide with brake, two step and all that stuff. it is on 29 x10.5w tires and it has stock style suspension.
My question is, I want to spray it but Im not sure what I need. it should run high tens on the motor this year and i would like to get it in the nines on spray.
Oh, and its a 406Sbc with a 4150 style carb. (yes its all forged)

so i guess help me build my nitrous system from scratch please.

The sponsors on here have some packages that include everything you'll need and they're more than willing to customize their packages as well. Nitrous Outlet or Harris Speed Works will get you set up properly. Give one of them a call.

I deal with Nitrous Outlet and have nothing but good things to say about them.

Here's a link to the build I did on my 406sbc. It is on an older Camaro though. It may help you out a bit. I went with the NX Gemini plate and love it!

Your best bet would be contact a sponsor.

I would say if its a bracket car you may want to think about going with the new NANO stuff. Keeps everything consistent.

If your car will 60' with the spray 200-250 would be my guess maybe even less if the car is light. Forgot if you mentioned raceweight.

i alswo would definatly recommend giving HSW a call, as far as safety devices are concerned i think their Micro Edge controller is one of the best deals around, lots of features for a small price. I also would look into the Interface so you can keep your N/A tune and have the interface pull timing and add fuel when you are on the bottle. A NANO system would also be a great way to keep the power consistent, and you dont have to wait on bottle heaters to get the pressure up. Also might want to think about getting another few bottles and maybe start filling your own n2o cause it gets addictive, lol

I dropped from an 11.5x to a 10.8x on a 100 shot that was a little rich. I know the faster you go the more it takes to get to the next step. I wouldn't think that you would need anything more than a 150-200 shot at most.

Do you have any pics of your 2nd gen that you can pm me?

You can do a 200 shot without much trouble on one stage, but might need to have it on a little bit of a delay until you get out of the hole. Like I said, check with both Nitrous Outlet and HSW and see what they can do for you. There are a lot of options out there for safety features, both in what they can do and how they do it. Figure out which one is going to work best for your setup, and go with it. Being SBC instead of LSx, what works best is probably going to be a little different than what you see most people on here running.

For a build like this it would be best if you could give us a call...I have many questions about your current setup (engine, fuel system, etc) and the answers will help me get you the right system. We have plenty of experience with SBC motor and have many options for you.

I agree with the sentiments that it will take 150-200 to crack the 9 sec barrier.

I buddy of mine's 93 camaro went 10.9 NA, 10.3 on a 100 shot and 10.0 on 150.
