Default in between 1&2 step colder. which and why?

i saw annother post where the colonel said colder plugs seem to hurt N/A performance at first but they allow you to slightly advance timing and remove a little fuel which results in the same power, but how much should i advance and lean on a 2 step colder plug i plan to run 50-200 but want a good N/A tune for when i'm off the bottle. so how much(little)should i play with these things and how much gain would i see by doing it?

For NA running, you want the mixture and timing right on just short of detonation for best power. A fuel/air mixture of 12.8-13.3:1 works best. The timing advance depends on a variety of factors including but not limited to dynamic compression ratio, cylinder pressure, plug selection, piston velocity, quench area, bore size, weather factors, engine load, and of course, fuel selection. You just gotta experiment a little to get it perfect.

For using nitrous, forget what I just said. Run it on the fat side with the timing low. You can always add nitrous to get the power to where you want it.
