Default plate guys, Question

what are those of you that run a plate and a maf doing for a bellows, i have never been able to get one that would let the lid fit good. I have tried stock, slp, and the fernco. I just ordered a hose from intake hoses.com and i hope i can cut it down enough to work. I took a couple pics this morning to show how stupid close the maf is to the throttle body when the lid is where it is supposed to be. What do you think. And yes maybe speed density is in my future, but not for a year or to.

i had to trim the death out of the slp bellows to get a lid to fit somewhat close, i even got a volant setup, and that was better, but i didnt like how it wouldnt hold the radiator in very well, so that is for sale.

Just keep trimming the bellow. Its a tight fit. Can you cut a little on the plastic lid? Kind of hard to tell from the pics.
