12 volt remote wire for nitrous (need help!)

12 volt remote wire for nitrous (need help!) Ok the system is set up and the 4 button switch in the ash tray lights up, the window switch lights up and the purge works you can hear the click. My problem is when I push purge or heater button the radio (sound) stops playing
and and slowly comes back. The 4 buttom switch lights go out. Then when I turn radio off and back on every thing comes back on.
I tied the 12 volt blue remote wire to the back of the radio and tested the wire with volt meter, the key would send voltage on when switched on and off.
Should I have ran the remote wire direct to the fuse panel?

The blue wire is current limited and is only a signal wire to the antenna. It can't supply current flow you need. Use the yellow or orange one if you don't want to go all the way out to the fuse block.
