Default Mounting solinoids on heads?

I mounted my solinoids on the front of the head on a piece of angle. After driving around they get hot. Will the solinoids be affected by the heat? Heres a picture.

How hot are we talking?

I've mounted some there before and never had any problems, is the angle aluminum?

I can still hold my hand on them but they are hotter than i thought they will be. I figure they should be good since their made to take the heat under the hood but just wanted to ask. Yes the bracket is aluminum.

Maybe use some sort of insulator between the bracket and the head?

Nitrous outlet has a similar product for the passenger side head. I can't imagine them selling it if it's prone to making solenoids fail
