Default how much timing should i actually pull

its a lt1 car and i have the n20 all hooked up now and i have the tune setup for stock timing still and im using a mallory 685 to pull the timing now should i do the 2* per 50 shot or should i go higher like 3* per the 50.....i had this on before with a 150 shot setup and pulled like 8* and the car ran but like **** as in e.t .....it ran better with no timing being pulled and still hit with 150

So how much timing should i pull i have a wideband and correct plugs to atleast check if im rich or not and to see what it actually does when i hit the spray..

id rather not pull so much timing and get a better pass than have way to much timing pulled and it run just okay BUT safe....

thanks

for ever 50hp over 100 shot u should take aleast 1 degree of timing out. I believe thats what it is. I'm sure some guys can chime in here.
