Is there ever a need for a nitrous pressure regulator with a dry shot? Or does the computer always adjust fuel pressure correctly so that it's not needed?

 

The nitrous jet is regulating the nitrous flow, if thats what you mean. Yes, the MAF sensor or interface controller adjusts for the additional airflow.

I guess it raises fuel pressure when nitrous is used? I don't think you guys carry anything like this, just trying to figure out when it's needed...

 

Nitrous bottle pressure is typically run between 900 - 1050psi and as you start injecting nitrous the bottle pressure will drop. By the end of the 1/4mile you have the potential to have lost up to 400 or more PSI bottle pressure. A pressure regulator installs inline and is supposed to eliminate the dreaded pressure drop by controlling the bottle pressure going to the nitrous solenoid. No matter if your spraying a 50hp shot or 300hp shot you could easly put one inline in the setup. Me personally im not a big fan of them but we have had customers that have gotten adn love them.
