great kit for ease of installation, dont expect much from the kit, no more than 150. you will be looking for something to upgrade too soon, my suggestion is n20 outlet, there brand x line is reasonable and there plate kits are unmatched in performance and quality. good luck.

It was my first kit also.
Easy to install and real safe but the kits rated at the crank not at wheels.

I'm lookin at this kit as well, I just want a safe 75 shot w/ no tuning involved. How is it workin out for you? Are you gonna run colder plugs and/or retard timing? Is thst necessary for just a 75 shot i wonder?

75 shot should be ok assuming you are more or less stock. The ZEX kit is a nice kit, i see lots of good things from it. Other good starter kits are HSW, or as previously mentioned, the Brand X kits. hell, look at all the sponsors haha, they have some bad *** kits, and you cant go wrong with any of them.

Sorry for the BTW. But i mean just to confirm, NOS kits say colder plugs arent necessary, Zex kits do. Your suggestions? And no tuning with a 75 shot??? My mods are just a cat back, and a lid.

I'm also a mile above sea level where stock ls1 cars run mid-upper 14's if that matters... (less cylinder pressure to begin with?)

well i would suggest TR6 plugs for safety anyways, but i dont believe they would be necessary for a kit jetted to 75 FWHP

I have the Zex wet kit.
I e-mailed Zex and asked them about running the 75 shot on stock plugs and the tech said that there would be no problems. This was about 2 years ago or so.
I switched to tr-6 plugs when I ran the 100 jets and the stock plugs looked perfectly fine when I removed them.
Zex is a good kit imo.
