Exclamation N2O outlet standalone system...

I just installed my stand alone from Dave's and was wondering if you set the preasure to 10psi idle preasure or spraying preasure.??

Also the other problem I am having is:

Off one port I have the FPSS then to the fuel solenoid.
The other port I have a mechanical gauge and an electric sender (auto meter)
with a gauge in car. There is a differance in preasures between them. the mechanical gauge shows 10psi and the other shows 13psi???

which one do i believe.

The correct way to set the pressure is flowing pressure with a cerified gauge. If you do not have a flow tool and are seting it based off of the machanical gauge with the system dead headed all you can do is set it at the pressure you are jetted for and varify the airfuel to make changes.
Its pretty common to see a varance in readings in not certified gauges.

I am with this guy.


What I would do is setup the system so it isn't going to the solenoid. Just have the stand alone going into a gas can so that you get constant flow going through the system and no just to the noid and dead heading. Make sure you don't suck the pump dry.

What i did was put a guage right before the fuel noid and set the tank about 56psi with the high pressure spring in it. I ended up going down to 45psi according to my a/f . Best thing to do is jet it for what the shot calls for then work from there. If its a nozzle setup wouldnt you want to do high pressure since all the jets are rated at 40 and 50psi of fuel pressure? I know alot of people who use low pressure for direct port.Just a thought .
