Default Hesitation on TR8's..

I had some TR8's laying around so I replaced them from the TR7's I ran all last year in prep for a 150-200 shot at the track in a few weeks.

Took it for a spin and it seems on low RPM and ~35mph it seems like it has a small "hesitation" or maybe a fluctuation in the rpm. I checked them all and they are .032 - .035" gaped right out the box. Once you floor it runs like a raped ape like normal.

So, is it normal with a 8 cold plug? It is ~55* out if that makes any difference.

sounds normal, can be fixed with tuning but is not big deal as you are using them for WOT stuff.

IDK why you ran on them if you are trying to pull plugs to check your tune up though.

I was unclear on what shape the 7's were in.. So, I took them out and well, if I take plugs out I always throw new ones in and no auto store in my area had 7's..
I had to order them and still wanted to drive my car and test the bottle out for the 1st time this year so I threw in my TR8's.

Gotcha, what I do is throw tr6's in the car when im at the track to warm the car up go through tech, then change plugs and tow up. works well.

I guess I am not motivated enough to do that... I just pull timing and watch my AF and call it a day. I check plugs when I get it back in the garage.

I wish I knew how to tune better though.
