Got a NOS 5177 and i dont have the FPSS grounded cuz i lost the screw and im taking it to the track tomorrow to see how she does b4, i store it for the winter.. MY question is will the system still work without it being grounded or do i have to ground it for it too work properly??????

ground it wouldn't take a sec
