So what do you guys think? How much nitrous would you safely try and push with 104 unleaded if everything (plugs, a/f, timing) looks good. Thanks.

i run nothing less than 116 in any nitrous motor.... if its taking 2 big kits then 118... easier to tune.... with a fuel that has alot less octane the tune has to be right on or you start nipping pistons.

Thanks for the advice, but I'm talking more on the line of a street/strip set-up. I'm looking to see how much hp I can push on the single stage plate. You see guys all the time running 150-175rwhp shots on 93 octane. So maybe a 200-225rwhp shot is ok on some 104?

the plate systems are more or less restricted by the distributuion of the plate itself. Most guys don't go over a 200 for a reason= bad distribution. I haven't had the nitrous outlet dual stage in my hands so I can't comment on that one. But if you are runnign a single stage I would keep it at 200 or less.
There are a lot of other variable involved with your set up- like how much timing you are throwing at it. 24 compared to 27-30 will make a big difference in how big of a shot you can get away with with 104 octane.

VP109 IS UNLEADED! i have been using it to compare to 104 and 93sunnoco. the reason: to spray the 200w as safely as possible and also so that when i do spray the 200w i'll be closer to my target afr of 12.2., i don't have a roll bar to keep making passes to tune, so if i get kicked out, maybe it will be as close to max tune as i can.
