Why is my Direct Port Still Stumbling?

I think you may have just found the problem. The first converter I had this year was way too loose. It would stall to around 5200 on motor and then flash to 6500 on the kit. But the nitrous never hesitated at all. It would come on right out of the hole. Then I asked my tranny builder to send me a 3600 stall. Well, it ended up being 2600. My nitrous doesn't activate until 3200rpm. But now it stumbles on the initial hit even when we were burping it through the motor. It would do it every time. I have been using this same tune since 2006 with no issues at all until recently.

We had a tight convertor in waynes. we would put the on rpm at 1800 then he would foot brake to liek 1K then when he left from the foot brake and the nitrous hit it would flare to 4000 or so so it was fine. be care full and work you way up. you don't want to bog it on the juice. do this set your kit at 3K leave on the motor and around 4500 hit the arm button if it pulls good and hard that was your issue. also in the tune we would put 5 degrees of timming or so in the convertor flash area( you will neeed some fuel also) and it will help .Nitrous doesn't just hit all at once ideally you want to ramp the fuel in over like 1000 rpm but the stock computer can't really do this on a wet kit unless you pull fuel out at that rpm. so giving it a little more timming befoe the hit and when it first comes in helps.
