Are you geared for the 1/8 or the 1/4? that's flying!

Thanks everyone !!

Cobrakiller ... has 4.10's in it, could use some 4.56 if we were only running 1/8th.
I shift at 8400rpm and it goes thru the 1/8th at 7300rpm.

We may loosen the converter up a little once we get evrything sorted out or just up the jets to flash it higher. lol

Nice results you guys, record runs are just a matter of time.

people think I am crazy when i suggest custom timing curves, like retard in retard out, lol. Are you doing this according to your torque curve, or more per what it needs that that day that track, or something different? That's how I have been mapping mine for sometime, based on the torque curve on the spray...

We shouldnt have to do that. The track was really bad that day!

1.2x 60' times and 5.4x's next time out.

Thats about right.

We havent changed the limiters from last year but we lowered the car a good bit this year which gave us more "slack" in the limiters.
We figured we would try it there before we change anything and it seems to be working good so far.

We may see you on the 26th, get that thing ready.

5.4 is easy 1.2 and not dragging the bumper might be tough. id liek to see a a 5.43 on the same jets @ 132 or so. then flop em and go 5.40 @ 133 to be ready for the big jets.

I'd love to but you know my feelings on renting the track in the summer. Someone needs to do a night rental, maybe an 7-2 The track f**kin sucks during the day.

You guys could probably stand to take 3/4" of travel out of the front.

we have not had the wheels more than 1' of the ground yet. We used to have about 2" in it but well work with this for a little bit. The car works even on bad tracks.

yeah thats why we don't want to mess with much .Once we get some more power in it if it stops working we definatly have some things we want to try. and if we put the 28's in the first kit we will probably have to strap it down somemore.
