So I went to NPR today for the vette viper race. I really wanted to just see how the car mph looked. I did not launch hard and had 2.0 to 1.8 60 foots in an attempt to save my rear end from another explosion. While I succeeded in that goal I did however start grinding 3rd gear and having trouble with the transmission. I still wanted to run at least one nitrous pass so with the trans acting up I took the risk. The car came out the hole a little lazy due to my easy launches and the heat taking its toll. Well when all was said and done this was how my last pass turned out.
60' 1.812
330 4.971
1/8 7.369
1/8 mph 105.47
1000 9.391
1/4 11.047
1/4 mph 136.83

You gotta be pleased with that for a first N2O pass. What kinda trap are you expecting on a clean run... 142-143? I haven't been on here for awhile and didn't know you went direct port. Congrats on the #s 692/662 WOW!

Thanks, I think I can definitely get it over 140+ with a few more passes and some adjustments. I really would have loved to have a 10 second pass, but after blowing to diffs up I wanted to try and keep on in the car a while. How have you been?
Doing good. I can understand not wanting to get too crazy with it at the track or the even the street. That thing has got to be a handful on the bottle! I've been thinking about changing the cam in my ol' 383. A lot has changed in the cam world since mine was built.

Yea, you definitely can squeeze some more power out of that engine if you wanted.
