If you cna real time log you can actually go up on the brake and add the timming and see the t brake push farther. don't sit on it to long 10 seconds max. let the tranny cool between trys.

we have a 14 to 1 or so and we have like 36* in ours on the convertor flash. it will help.
^^^that's what I was looking for^^^

Thanks for the info!

Just to follow up, We tried it and it works great. Unfortunately, We were only able to get a couple of runs in before the rain. We didnt get to test the plate with the DP on top of it.

As you now know, YES, do it! First time I did it (way back in '95 or '96) people thought I was crazy. But my way of thinking was, if you have a blower/turbo car, and you are building boost on teh brake....what's the difference, right? So, I did it, and man makes alot of difference.

Looks like you have all the info you need as I am coming in at the tail end of the thread, but glad you got teh right info and is working out for ya.

Did have a question for ya. You say you have a 2 step....you are using that and teh Tbrake and spraying it, at the same time?

Before I assume anything, wanted to clear that up though, so?

The nitrous car that we are discusing in this thread belongs to a friend of mine and I tune on it. This car does not have a 2 step. Just a transbrake.

My car is a turbo car with a 2 step. No problem getting up on the brake once the 2 step starts popping and building boost.

I've been spraying a 200 shot out of the hole, on a trans brake.. The only issues has been almost putting it on the bumper last year..

The T-brake is wires through a relay that activates the nitrous as soon as the brake is released..

I'm now wondering if wiring up a 2 step, as mentioned, would allow me to keep things under control.. Good info.

Cobrakiller is talking about spraying nitrous while the Tbrake is on.
In other words as soon as you go wide open the nitrous is on, no waiting for the Tbrake to release.

I did it to a car last year. It was an RB that had an incorrect stall. Wasn't building boost at all with the brake on. Sooooo..We hit it with a 75 shot on the brake. Fixed everything

It shouldn't be a huge problem because the 2 step is dropping random spark to meet RPM requirements. I guess the question is, can the drivetrain handle the shock of the additional HP.

That being said, it would be tough for me to do to my own car.

This car has all the best drivetrain **** and NO 2 step. Not sure if I would feel too comfortable spraying on a 2 step though. All that popping seems way more violent.
