Nitrous Confusion (pros come help)
Alright i have a Cold fushion nitrous kit that is activated with a WOT swich and also i have wired into the kit a fuel pressure safety switch and a MSD digital window switch...Its all working great the way it is but here lies the problem...Im starting to race index races and i now have a transbrake witch i want to use but the WOT switch is preventing me from that....Is there a diagram out there that i can use to help wire in a trans brake to this combination? I found one that was close to what i wanted but when i wired it up with everything it would turn the window switch off when i pressed the transbrake and then turn it back on when i let off of it and there is about a 5-10 sec delay for the window switch to go thru its modes and arm the nitrous kit...Any ideas would be appreciated! Thanks in advance
Sorry if this is the same as chris's I can't see pics at work they are blocked.
Does your window switch ground the relay? if so put a 2nd relay in there have the ground from the window switch go to post 30 on the relay. have post 87a go to the other relay. come off the output of your transbrake button and put it on 85. Depending on if your trans brake button is ground or hot put the other ground or hot to 86. what this will do is let the window switch act normal until you hit the brake. the window switch will stay on it will just interupt the ground to the nitrous relay.
If you give me some more details there are a few more ways to do this.
