Nitrous pass hit rev limiter
Hey Guys I was at the track this weekend and I was using nitrous. A 100 shot. On my last pass I bouced off the rev limiter with the nitrous on. Can I cause any damage to my motor. It still seems fine. Can you guys tell me what to check for?, to make sure its ok? Its a 2001 c5 corvette. mods are vararam,LT headers, and nitrous 100 shot.

below is what happened to me, although it was a dry shot. I was running a 300 shot and no window switch. I am pretty good at shifting a 6-speed so thought everything would be fine. Well I missed or bungled a shift and because it was still spraying it skyrocketed the RPMs and hit the limiter. This pulls fuel and when I got back into it I had a 7000rpm lean back fire. Luckly running a dry shot, the back fire was not bad enough to dislodge the fuel rails and cause a nasty fire. Moral of the story, and I should have practiced what i preach, lol, run all of the safety stuff at all times.

yes, check your plugs and I guess you should check for hairline fractures on the composite manifold.
do you have a window switch and what is the kill rpm set to??? 6000? hopefully the solenoids closed
