LOL TNT posts always crack me up. "I put a 100 shot on and got 140 hp out of it!". That's a 140 shot, not a 100 shot. Sounds to me like TNT never has gotten their jet ratings right. Put 140 pills in any other kit (NOS, NX, etc) and you can get 140 out of it too....

But back to the topic. I too am awaiting some good NXL results, as well as the bugs to be worked out. No guinea pigging for me...

The accumalater will be realeased in about a month. It will be comming in the kits from then on.As for the guys that bought the first kits im sure NX is going to take care of them.I have studied alot on this kit recently.I beleave it is a good kit.It should have had alittle more research however there were alot of factors in this and they tried. The truth is the machine shop can not stay caught up with everything that is going on.NX is releasing a new intake and throttle body. This has also added to the list at the machine shop. You will see alot of nice stuff comming out soon. Andrew I love it when someone else sees threw the smoke!!!

Dave, since a lot of us bought our kit through you, will you guys then be sending us this accumulator when it comes out? Or do we need to talk directly to NX?

I know a lot of people have been bagging on this kit, but I do think it is good and with the addition of the accumulator I believe it will alleviate most issues with it. I've seen a couple people selling theirs, but I'm sticking with mine.

The only thing that sucks is removing the fuel rails again to install this accumulator in the back.

Thats why I flipped my rails, well that and they wouldnt fit normally. I put the fp safety on the front so the accumulator can plug right in!! Giddy up.

Dave thanks for letting us know something for sure about the NX products. I didnt want to spill any "secret" info so I was trying to be vague. I thought it was public knowledge but I wasnt sure.

That would be great if NX was willing to pony up for the accumulator, they already have my business back but that would be a classy thing to help out the first people that bought their product.

The point was that the distribution is right on and doesn't need direct port to get the power, not the HP rating of it.For alot cheaper too.
I can't wait to see the NXL kit have all the bugs worked out.I for one would like to add DP on my car without a dedicated fuel supply to make work right.
I would think a smaller volume fuel rail would help on the pressure drop. Also has anyone tried a Boost a pump to increase voltage when spraying?Turbo guy's use it to get more fuel pressure/volume and I've used it on other N2O setups with great results.

That may work but I still think the difference is nitrous causes a sudden "hit" to the fuel volme where a turbo is a gradual increase.

The accumulator is the ultimate anwser. The only thing it will stop is the "hesitation" some guys are feeling but that is the only problem with the kit.

Otherwise the NXL system is working exactly as it should.

Well, I want to get everything finished up on my kit (still waiting for a window switch and interior switch panel - I never had nitrous on the car before) and then I plan on strapping her down on the dyno for a few pulls. I have dual intank 340's that are hot wired directly to the battery (Racetronix setup) so that should be better than a "boost a pump."

We'll see if I have any issues running both pumps when the system hits. I have a feeling though the accumulator is really what's needed. I don't think any fuel pump set up can accomodate such a drastic and instant drop in fuel pressure but we'll see.

Since I have my Rails on a fedex bird heading for NX, I will have to call and ask if they can just send me an accumulator when they return the rails. I too thought ahead and put the crossover in the back, figure it will be easier to hook up a gauge and all.
Ordering the 220jets tomorrow!

Yikes..... Charlie you definately are more daring than I on the stock shortblock.... you'll have to keep us updated if you make some passes with the 220 shot. You'll definately have a 10 second pass with that if you don't throw a rod.
