Default When to use two bottles?

My new setup is a dual stage uses 4 noids.

In it's current setup, It uses 1 -6 line that feeds a Y that slips off into 2 more Y's, then each goes into a noid.

At what point should I ditch a Y and just run a second bottle?

What if I went with a nano setup?

If i can safely get away with 1 bottle, that would be nice.

The key point you need to add is what the hp of the first stage is and what the hp of the second stage is, and also what size bottle.

15# bottle.

What is the limit of one bottle on a -6........200? 300? 400?

Don't know the size I will be spraying at it yet.

when you have a 2 bottle setup is it better to use a Y block to run the 2 lines together, or is a regular T fine?

I am sure a Y is much better. You don't see Ts being sold and I am sure it is because you won't get good flow with a T.

How low your bottle get on a single pass and how much drop in pressure you see will determine if you need to add a second bottle or not. You need to weigh you bottle after a run and check how low the pressure gets. I wouldn't run my bottles under 600

depends on what jets you are running in that setup and your total flow. there really isnt much a 15lb bottle and 6AN line cant support. Two bottles is nice, but usually overkill and adds additional weight to the car.

im not worried about weight, i drive a 6000lb truck!!! haha and im only running a 150 shot, so im not worried about maxing out the flow, just want the extra volume, soi dont necessarily NEED two bottles, but since i do alot of runs that are longer than a 1/4 mile and all that it will be nice to have two. but will a T be a restriction or too much of a turn for the nitrous to make?

weight is weight, want to run faster, you got to shed the lb's. We have run two lightnings for a long time, so i know what it takes to get a big heavy truck moving.

yes you want to limit the number of 90 degree bends in your system as they represent flow restrictions. That is why our distribution blocks are designed without any 90 degree turns in them.

I run 2 bottles because i go out racing all night and do back to back pulls against some crazy cars so i rely on the volume of both bottles .

One bottle on a Saturday night in Orlando isnt gona get it !
