Default Cylinder heads and nitrous?

I'm a n0ob when it comes to nitrous so I'm trying to learn how it works.
Does flownumbers for the heads mean anything for the nitrous?

I'm thinking LS2 base engine, 500rwhp NA + 200-300 shot of nitrous?
When I'm selecting heads,do I even care about the nitrous? Or do I choose them based on the NA numbers?

If you go too small with the combustion chamber, it limits the piston options some. You want a head that will flow really well on the exhaust side as well, moreso then an n/a motor.

Camshaft selection becomes a good bit different moreso then the heads.

N/A motor really is no different than a EFI nitrous motor. In all cases you want great flow even with the guys in FI, every little bit helps. Just want to build it stronger.
JL stated some about camshafts, i personally do not know anything about camshafts but i do know they sometimes are a little different than an N/A motor.

I would be careful using that LS2 block with that big of a shot on top of 500+rwhp. Personally i would the LQ4/9 block. Guys push that LS2 block to 800rwhp but longevity is not good.

For heads i would go with some ARF or TFS heads if at a buget they have thicker decks which will help at that level.

For my build weight is a key issue so I like the idea of an aluminum block.
If I decide to go this route I may just have the LS2 sleeved and get som extra cui from a bigger bore as well.

Taking notes...
Careful selection of camshaft.
Good flowing heads, especially the exhaust side.

How much should the heads flow for my goals? I know... you can't race a flowbench...
Still, it would be good to know what to look for.

The heads have a big job to do. they need to have thick decks the chamber has ot have a design to help prevent detonation. The exhaust side needs to be as good as it can get. There are definatly things that can be done.
