just got done reading this whole thing and i dont think its a supply thing. if you are running two seperate kits and each worked individually then im thinking it has to do with either the heads/intake limiting everything. the first thing i would do is run your DP and see what AFR's you get. jet it for 200 then add the 75 as a second stage. see what your AFRs are. then adjust the zex kits fuel jetting to bring it back to the correct afr. leave your stand alone fueling the same, change just the fuel jetting. by doing this then you are limiting the fuel that has to flow through the intake. once you have it leaned out a bit and you still dont have any improvements then you are being limited by your heads/intake/cam/exhaust. or another solution would be to run everything through the DP. it already has -6 feed lines and will support way more than the engine will handle. i judt dont understand why you want to throw 75 shot through a nozzle when you have a dp unless your limited by traction?
I also agree with the others that have mentioned plug gap, if its blowing the spark out then its going to run rich as hell . . . . . tighten the gap and i think youll see some improvements!
If I could do it all over again I'd prob just run n2o outlets standalone fuel sys and their plate. I know people that have had good luck with it. To close the case on this, I ended up putting the car completely back to stock and sold it as a driver. I now have a 87 notch that I'm beginning to set up for a sbe cam only lq4 with another healthy shot of spray. Should be interesting.
